The Upper East Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, conducted a working visit to the Bolgatanga East District Assembly on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, as part of his regional tour of Municipal and District Assemblies (MDAs).
Mr. Michael Awini, District Coordinating Director (DCD) welcomed all staff gathered and acknowledged all decentralized and centralized staffs present.
The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Albert Agana in a brief note welcomed the Regional Minister and his entourage to the assembly and urged management and staff to pay attention to the message the minister has brought to improve the assembly.
The Hon. Minister’s visit is aimed to familiarize himself with the working conditions and encourage staff to fulfill their mandates for enhanced service delivery. He was however happy with the attendance of management and staff present for the meeting and he added that the attendance is evident that management and staff have so much confidence in the DCE.
Dr. Bin Salih in his speech emphasized the importance of punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards.
He also stressed the need for clear communication, impartiality, and avoidance of partisan politics, warning that any staff found engaging in such activities would face consequences.
During his visit, Dr. Bin Salih inspected a completed CHPs compound with nurse’s accommodation at Dabori, funded under the SOCO programme.
