Hon. Albert Agana Akugre, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bolgatanga East District visited the Zuarungu Senior High School examination center A and B to deliver words of advice and encouragement to the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates participating in this year’s examination to boost their spirits.
The DCE called on all the candidates to be calm, confident and not panic when the question papers are presented them. He as well pleaded with the candidates to adhere to all instructions on the questions booklet to enable them avoid making mistakes and added that they should pay critical attention to their invigilators as they guide them through the examination.
He further advised the candidates to be of good behavior and frown from indulging in examination malpractices.
Hon. Agana wished all the candidates participating in the 2024 BECE examination at all the examination centers within the Bolgatanga East District success and charged them to make the district proud.
The total number of candidates sitting for the BECE is 683, with males and females totaling 330 and 353 respectively. The examination will last for five days, Monday, 8 to Friday, July 12, 2024.
